By using this website or engaging in our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.



1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to The MiNT Academy, part of Hobbs Rehabilitation Ltd.

  • “User”, “You” refers to any third party accessing the website or using Our services.

We offer free and paid courses through our e-learning platform. Access may require registration and account creation.

Details of such services will be agreed through a formal quotation or service agreement.



3. Accounts and Website Use

  • You must be 18 years or older or have adult supervision to use our website.

  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any accounts that breach our acceptable use standards, including misuse of content or communication systems.



4. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

  • All online course purchases constitute an offer which we may accept or decline.

  • Payment terms for online services will be shown at checkout.

  • Bespoke service engagements will be confirmed through a quotation including timelines, fees, and payment milestones.

  • VAT may be applicable and is added where relevant.




5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Online Services

Consumers based in the UK/EU have a 14-day “cooling-off” period. If you request access to content during this period, your right to cancel may be affected.

Refunds are available in accordance with consumer protection law and will be processed within 14 days where applicable.

5.2 In-Person Services

Rescheduling or cancellations must be made in writing.

  • >14 days’ notice: no charge

  • 3–14 days: 50% of the agreed fee

  • <3 days: 100% of the agreed fee



6. Intellectual Property

  • All educational content developed by The MiNT Academy remains our intellectual property.

  • For custom consultancy projects, clients retain IP for their existing or resulting products; we retain rights over generic materials developed for educational use.

  • You receive a limited, non-transferable licence for internal use only.



7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Any personal or project data is held securely.

  • We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, unless legally required.

8. Communications and Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our systems or platforms:

  • To post unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory content

  • For spamming or unsolicited mass communication

  • To impersonate others or violate any applicable law

9. Insurance and Equipment

If we provide equipment for training or assessment:

  • You are responsible for its safekeeping while in your possession.

  • We maintain our own professional insurance; we ask you to maintain suitable coverage as well.



10. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve issues collaboratively and promptly.
In the event of unresolved disputes, formal mediation will be considered before any legal proceedings.
Jurisdiction will be under the laws of England and Wales.




11. Website Content and Availability

We use best efforts to maintain uptime and functionality of our website. However:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.

  • We disclaim liability for any disruptions caused by factors outside our control (e.g. internet failure, force majeure).



12. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses incurred through use of our website or services.

  • We do not guarantee specific results from any educational or consultancy service.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any matter for which exclusion is prohibited by law.
